The MauiSails™ Global continues to grab the attention of sailors and testers worldwide as it is discovered to be an ideal choice for on-shore and bump and jump conditions most often found in average sailing conditions. Creating a wave sail that generates smooth power that is manageable at all times is always a challenge. This year we have responded by designing in a light feel that can be enjoyed during a wave maneuver while still maintaining the superb power and handling. You can punch through ragged whitewater and be ready to catch those wind driven waves.
The graphic treatment provides for a large stable film window view and continues the evolution of the Global design theme of 2009. New tack area chafe materials, wrinkle reducing leech load point attachments, US made X-Ply™ materials, and shape driven batten tapers round out the features for 2010 performance.
